Q1. Why is search engine positioning so important?
Our search engine marketing firm can generate a tremendous amount of highly qualified traffic. Many of our clients have reported that our services generated the best return of investment (ROI) they have ever seen, when compared to conventional forms of marketing and advertising such as direct mail, print ads and trade shows. The ever growing increase of high speed internet access, both at the office and at the home, has pushed this even further. There are currently over 200 million internet users within the U.S. alone and over one billion internet users worldwide. On top of this, the pre-qualification of search engine generated leads is historically higher than those that come from other forms of conventional advertising (such as print ads, direct mail and tradeshows). These are not people that you had to hunt for, these are people who are hunting for you! Knowing the specific keywords that they are using AND being found at the top of the major search engines for these various search terms should be a top priority in your overall marketing plan. Our clients have seen incredible results from our search engine placement services.
Q2. Who are the Major Search Engines?
No surprise, Google currently holds the #1 spot. We remember when Yahoo was king and Google had yet to be born. In the early days there were a dozen or more search engines considered to be major players. Today, Google, Yahoo and MSN collectively dominate over 95% of all search engine traffic (keep in mind that AOL pulls their results from Google as well). Thus, when it comes to search engine optimization and search engine marketing services, our main focus is generating top positions within the big three - Google, Yahoo & MSN. Google also supplies results to Earthlink, AT&T and dozens of other partners. Yahoo has since purchased Overture, AltaVista, FAST and Inktomi, making them Google''''s #1 competitor. Other smaller search engines include Ask, Dogpile, Excite, Netscape, MetaCrawler, Search.com, AllTheWeb, Lycos and HotBot.
Q3. How do we move to the top of the search engines?
There are two main areas to target; Sponsored Listings (which requires pay-per-click management) and Natural Listings (which requires search engine advertising services and link building services). We offer services for each.
Q4. How do I get my site to show up in the Top Search Engines?
Studies have shown that 70% or more of all search engine users prefer clicking on the "natural" results in the main left portion of the search engines (versus the sponsored listings found on the right). Positioning our clients at the top of the natural rankings is our main expertise. Are you curious to see how many people are searching for a company like yours on a monthly basis? Just ask! We'll be glad to provide you with free key phrase research on the search terms that describe your specific products and/or services, as well as a competitive analysis and our personal recommendations on what you should do to better capture this highly qualified traffic.
 Q5. What is Website Optimization?
Whether it is someone looking for golf balls, a new beach cruiser or a purchasing agent who is looking for three thousand instrument panels, the internet is where it happens. Unfortunately, most websites are only being used as an online brochure. Moving your website to the top of Google and other major search engines will transform it into a powerful source of business development. Many of our clients have told us that our website optimization services generated more sales for their company than all other forms of advertising combined!
Q6. How much will a project cost?
All charges will be quoted prior to job acceptance. We will give you an estimated budget size or breakdown of costs in a fully written proposal. However, to help small businesses, freelancers, self-employed to have an effective web presence, we have structured our pricing to suit their budget needs.
Q7. How much does it cost to build a website?
It depends on a number of factors - such as the number of pages and the comprehensiveness and complexity of the pages. Simple pages containing text and photos are easier to build those pages involving special features and special effects and design elements. Also development costs can be reduced by proper definition work up front. Our business model enables us to deliver high end sites at a cost significantly lower than our competition. After an initial consultation session, we are able to give you some estimates for design and development.
Q8. What warranty do you offer on the completed work?
We fix any defects which you bring to our attention within 90 days of project completion. We don't expect you to pay for our mistakes. Defect management is one of our biggest priorities. We expect the number of defects to fall off as the project approaches completion. If this is not happening, we will know about it after just a few weeks and take appropriate action.
Q9. Is it better to try to rank for a keyword or phrase?
It is much easier to rank higher for a phrase than a single word. The more niche-based and specific your phrase, the better are your chances of beating the competition to achieve the highest ranking for the phrase.
Q10. Will I rank about the same for each search engine?
A. No, because each engine has separate criteria for rankings. An SEO service will be well acquainted with the manner in which each engine ranks, so they will tailor their services to achieve optimal status for each engine.
Q11. Do you provide the text for the Website?
A. Most clients have their own information they would like to insert on the site (and often is so when the nature of the site involves specialized and technical jargon).
Q12. Who will own the copyright to the site?
A. Full ownership occurs once all payments are made.
 Q13. What is Web hosting?
A. Web hosting refers to the computer where your Website files are in order for anyone to access the site 24/7.
Q14. What is a domain name?
A. A domain name is the address where your Website resides. For instance, if your business' name was "computer world" your address could be www.computerworld.com.
Q15. Do you only use design templates?
A. That will depend on the client. Website design services will charge more to custom design your site. The process of building a site relies very heavily on what the client wants. Most of the time, I custom design the Website unless the client has a design template purchased already. This in turn makes your site less expensive.
Q16. Why does my company need Web Design Services?
A. Each day business transactions are taking place on the Internet. If your company does not have a Website, then you are losing revenue! Many businesses do not have the resources in-house, so they outsource for web design services.
 Q17. What is pay-per-click management?
A. While most pay per click management companies charge between 15% to 20% of your monthly spending, we charge a flat rate of 10% (with a minimum monthly fee of $300) for both Google and Yahoo. Your direct click-through fees, which go straight to the search engines, can vary between $0.10 to over $5.00 per click. No annual contracts are required and you may cancel at any time on a month-to-month basis after the first 90 days. Please note that our optimization services for top rankings within the non-sponsored listings may offer a better long term investment. However, many of our clients request both services to maximize their presence and double their traffic.
Q18. What happens once your task/project is completed?
A. Technology Aspects takes pride in its ability to get the job done and to fulfill a client's expectations. Part of our contractual agreement with our clients is our guarantee against the workmanship completed. We offer on-going support programs to clients so they can focus their attention on managing their business.
Q19. What are your terms of payment?
A. There are two payment options depending on size of budget and time schedule. For smaller projects there is an initial payment of 50% of the total cost of the estimate is required upon contracting with us, with the remainder due upon completion of the project. For larger more complex projects we will devise a payment method plan over the projected time schedule.
Q20. How long does a project take?
A. Flexibility is our strength. With adequate information, we can expedite your job request to meet your needs.
